love light | asheville portrait photographer

energy….energy between two people…..what a phenomenal thing to be able to experience. i had the great good fortune to get a very last minute email from this couple who are only temporary Asheville residents, wondering if I might be able to photograph them. five minutes prior, i had a family call to reschedule their session due to an illness, so, to say their email was timely, is an understatement….and to say I got very lucky is just as much of an understatement. the love and affection these two have for one another after already a couple of years of marriage is just intoxicating. so easy together, so comfortable. he lights up when she looks at him, and she, well….just look at the love radiating in her eyes. what a wonderful gift I received to be able to meet and spend time with these two. C and L…thank you for your note, and for celebrating your wonderful relationship in photos…..
here are your memories of your time in asheville :)

reds, golds and greens….. | asheville family photographer

if only fall would go on forever. the warm evening and spectacular colors of the trees provided the perfect backdrop for this gorgeous, largely auburn haired family last evening. and what troopers they were as they had to help me carry the traveling couch out to it’s intended spot in the field by the lake! thanks for sharing the evening with me and for paying little attention to the curious onlookers wondering what in the heck you were doing on a couch in a field! it was a lot of fun….now, here is your sneak peek!
