kristi hedberg photography – fog | asheville photographer

as I was driving my youngest home yesterday, we passed through this section of our neighborhood, just as the fog was beginning to form as the relative warmth began to slide away, and interacted with the cool of the streams and ponds that dot the landscape. Unfortunately, I did not have my camera with me, but dashed back home to grab it. By the time I returned, the fog had risen considerably……but the light was still so amazing. Winter is long from over, but the day we had yesterday gave us all a little something to hold onto to tide us over until spring arrives.

kristi hedberg photography – on top of the world | asheville family photographer

What a perfect day to be perched high atop Reynolds mountain with the nicest of families…….crisp, clear blue skies, no wind, and all followed by a spectacular sunset. Oh and, in addition to all of the aforementioned beauty, wait until you see the three gorgeous daughters these two have raised…….um, did you ever see such amazing eyes?! And they all three have them! The youngest of the family is a senior heading off to college next year, so there were definitely some bittersweet moments as mom contemplated the all too soon to be empty nest……I have a feeling I might be calling in the not too distant future for advice on how to handle having a daughter go off to college!

Thanks for having me capture some memories for your family, T. It was a true pleasure getting to meet you after so long trying to coordinate college and family schedules! Here is your sneak peek!

kristi hedberg photography – end of the leaves | asheville family photographer

we found what has to be the prettiest spot in the county for this family session last evening……and little miss M was just a trooper, even though she wasn’t feeling quite herself. With all of the wet weather we have been having, we were afraid postponing might mean we would lose the chance for capturing this lovely threesome amidst the fall colors. And little Miss M seemed to know that, and just kept on being the best little girl ever! Amy and Byron, it was a pleasure meeting you……enjoy your sneak peek!
