I am always so sad when I learn of a family losing a cherished dog. Cocoa was a best pal to his two human brothers…….I would frequently see them out jogging, the two boys, the two dogs, and mom as well. This morning, when I saw them, one of the boys was on his scooter, and no second dog in sight. That was when I learned of Cocoa’s passing. I am sorry for your loss, M and J, and so glad that we captured these photos of you and your pals a couple of years ago. It is always so hard to lose a best pal pup…….forces you to take a big step in growing up, and not always a welcome step. Our beloved animals teach us many things…..I always think the biggest things they teach us are about unconditional love and loyalty……..
You’re missed , Cocoa
Learn about the tremendous dangers of bloat. Bloat is the second leading cause of death in dogs behind cancer

so while photographing this little guy, I keep finding myself lapsing into my best Zsa-Zsa Gabor voice…….yeah, his name is Oliver….”Oli-vah”, you can just hear me, can’t you?
well this Oli-vah, was very intrigued by all the many sights, smells and sounds of these not-so-green (yet!!) acres.
here is his sneak peek!!

10 inches on the ground, and possibly 6 to 8 more to come tomorrow……it was just magical today. The first of these were taken after about an hour and a half of very steady snowfall this afternoon, and the last, outside in the incredible quiet that befalls a neighborhood after a dumping of snow…..and after 10 pm. I was handholding them at a second or more, so there is a bit of blur…….but again, just magical

so the rain today forced us indoors to capture Mulligan and his sis Chloe……..did I mention it was also very dark outside?! Tough lighting conditions but I just loved this last parting shot as I was approaching the door to leave. The painting which hangs at doggy eye level is by an artist named Cornbread. love it.
