now this senior project has wings……literally. Doug decided he wanted to learn to fly, and so, made the pursuit the subject for his senior project. so far, he absolutely loves it. we decided some photos of the endeavor were perfectly fitting. doug kindly asked me if I wanted to join him on his flight, to take some photos while airborne, but, um…….I am kind of a chicken when it comes to tiny aircraft I certainly don’t doubt his skills. he is one of the smartest and most mature kids I know……I am just, well…like I said…a little bit of a chicken.

just a warning to the wary…….a session with me just might include trekking through a field filled with gigantic green grasshoppers, oh, and, in full sun……..miss erika, trekked alongside me without even the slightest complaint, and then, still managed to look THIS gorgeous for all of the rest of the images. sigh…..you were so much fun to work with! here is your sneak peek!

and as a side note…..the image in the alley on the colorful ottoman where she is totally cracking up, might just be a new personal favorite of mine! she just had the greatest attitude and was so patient. hug to you, e!

I finally had to make myself stop editing…….it is impossible for miss kelly to take a bad frame. image after image of her absolutely rocking this session. what fun we had. thank you for driving so far to have me capture this special time in your life for you! i truly feel so lucky to have had the opportunity to spend time with both you and your wonderful mom. speaking of whom…..I can say without a doubt that the image below is my absolute favorite mother daughter image that I have ever had the good fortune to capture. the relationship you two share is so special, that much is very obvious. enjoy your sneak peek!
